Why Did He Do That - Part 2
I was wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and I was carrying my satchel over my left shoulder.

The bag felt heavy, far heavier than usual. Its weight caused my shoulder to ache, not quite painfully but assuredly causing some discomfort.
Still, I attempted to mask my unease. Even so much as a wince, perhaps even a nano-wince might be enough to betray me, and thus, my pregnant package. And this betrayal would be far less pale, than my own.
Dudes!!! They're legalizing pot!!! This is the greatest days in my life!!!
I struggled to keep my excitement within, though it threatened to blow out every orifice like cumulus cannibis combustion. I quickened my pace, ever so slightly. Deliver my cable one second late, and my fate, once stable, would begin to agitate.
The midday sun was not helping my situation. It was truly scorching outside. This heat, combined with my excited state and an ever-encroaching hangover courtesy of a session the night before, were threatening to liquify my bowels. Nevertheless, I maintained my now frenzied pace; the cable had to make it.
The cable did have to make it but I found my mind wandering regardless. I was thinking of cumulus clouds and the cumalatively positive effect they would have on me actually making it through the damn day. What was with my mind thinking about that in my situation?
